Since upgrating to 8.1.6 quick reply boxes do not show when the phone is dimmed. I do get a text sound tho. When I hit the home button or unlock button I see the quick reply button for a split second but then id disappears. I have to unlock the phone and open the app to reply.

Anyone else having this issue?

I updated last night and haven't had the issue. Not sure why it'd do it for you and not me. Have you gone in and run through the settings? Sometimes when BiteSMS updates the betas, old settings are automatically changed or lost, so I have to re-set them. Maybe?

How many times are you going to open new threads on this same topic on MR? I replied to you earlier saying I have the same setup and don't experience the issue you're experiencing, so must be a conflict with another tweak you have installed or a missed setting.

As many as it takes...

Uninstall bitesms and reboot, open iFile and go to var/mobile/library/preferences and delete com.bitesms.plist then reboot and reinstall bitesms. Does that fix your problem?

I got bad news for you.
Posting multiple threads with the same topic is against forum rules, but keep doing it so you can find out how many it will take to get the boot...

As long as he doesn't duplicate a thread in the News area, the mods seldom take action, even if his multiple threads are reported.

Wow, what a great member of the community. Really makes me want to help you ...:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Yeah, asking for help is one thing. Expecting and demanding tech support from a community forum about a third party software issue that no one has anything to do with is another.

Does anyone know how to disable the status bar alert icon on locked mode?

It's all or nothing by default. You can kill it in the More Stuff section of settings. There are a couple status bar tweaks. Not sure if you can specify between locked and unlocked but maybe one of those can disable it on the lock screen. Maybe Flex too. Not 100% sure though. I've only seen the ability to disable stock icons on the lock screen using flex.

Worst case you'll just have to disable the icon everywhere in settings.
