Hey everyone,

I'm just about to the point of adding a launch image to my app.

According to Apple's documentation, and their examples (such as the settings app), the launch image should be something small/generic such as a picture of a blank navigation bar with a grouped table view background (settings app). It should not be a logo or splash screen.

My question is, has anyone used the launch image as a logo or splash screen?

My app basically has a tab bar on bottom, navigation bar on top, and table view in the middle.

Should I have an image of a blank navigation bar, tab bar, and a blank table view?

or should I put my logo (just an image, no text on it) as the launch image?

I drew a mascott and added logo and 'loading' text. Had no problems when submitting the application.
