Is anyone else’s this low? I use a 12w Ipad charger most of the time. Is this the cause?

Should I get it replaced before my year is up?

If you’re planning on keeping the phone might not be a bad idea. I’m getting my backup iPhone 6S battery replaced before the end of the year as it’s showing 90% capacity also.

Purchased mine Christmas Eve. Using cheap Amazon wireless charger. 160 cycles. Still at 100%

OP: Battery degradation is usually about heat and the number of cycles. How many do you have thus far?

mine is 93% how low does it have to drop before they will replace it?

does it show that info on the iPhone?

Mine is a launch iPhone X, 98% battery.

99% of the time it only charges overnight, on wireless 7.5W

This happened to me with my launch day iPhone X as well! Brought it to Apple a couple weeks ago and they were going to replace the battery. Told me to come back in an hour or so and then told my my camera failed their calibration testing so I ended up getting a brand new iPhone X all together.

% means nothing without comparing it to cycles. Like comparing gas tank levels without adding distance driven.

A 10% capacity loss is the difference between a phone lasting 10 hours on a full charge or 9 hours. Not that big of a deal unless you need all the battery life you can get.

I use a wireless 5W charger for 90% of the charging I do. My late November iPhone X is at 92% with roughly 230 cycles. I plan to keep this device for another year at least, so I will probably get the battery replaced before the end of 2018.

My introduction day X is still at 100%. Rather shocked as I would have thought it would have dropped after this amount of time. I just drop it on the wireless charger with about 50% battery remaining before I go to bed, so not doing anything special. The charger is the Morphie from Apple.

Got mine on launch day. Was at 100% until just this week. 99% now. I use all manner of chargers. Car chargers, an iPad charger, a fast Qi charger, sometimes even a USB-C charger.
