2013 13" MBA here, does anybody else have issues with launchpad?
Sometimes it works fine, other times when I use the four finger gesture it either doesn't work at all or lags, or gets stuck in the middle of the animation and the icons float transparently over the screen for a while.

I had this problem with Mavericks on my mid 2010 MBP. I think it disappeared since I did a clean install of Yosemite. It could be too soon to say though.

just curious if you found a fix for this issue, I have the same exact problem where it gets stuck halfway transparently . I haven't done a clean install yet I was hoping theres an easier fix.

update: So I did a full clean install and it still has the same issue where the animation gets stuck halfway. I was hoping a clean install would fix this but I guess not.

damn. mine is still buggy. it used to work perfectly. After I restart my MBA, launchpad is good for a while, then if I don't shut down my laptop for a while it starts to get buggy.

Mine is only buggy on one of the admin accounts...other accounts it never happens. And it is only when the computer first starts as far as I can tell.
