Launchpad contains Monterey installation program

Basically the title. Since updating, I have the Monterey installation program listed there. Anyone else also having this?

Yup, me too and I got to try the erase all contents feature. It worked as advertised. It got rid of it pronto. A pretty slick feature.

I just noticed that. I almost never look at or open Launchpad so was surprised to see Monterey Install there. I have never seen that with any other version of macOS.

You can just click and hold to go into 'wiggle mode' and delete it. That's what I did after I managed to update.

I had to click on it once, it didn't do anything except turn the icon into a question mark. After that, it let me delete it!
