I restarted my mac and all my launchpad folders where gone please help!:)

Help, I have exactly the same on my 2011 Mac Air I7. I upgraded to Yosemite yesterday at first glance all seems right. Coming from 10.7 Lion I was pleased over the performance improvements, all seems faster and I like 10.10. However, today I noticed a few glitches.
Like you mention on Launchpad, when I create folders for example for games, when I restart the Mac the folders are gone. Also a few Apps like Garageband are put on the second page of my Launchpad. When I move those default Apps over to the first page, they are again on the second page after a OS restart. To me it seems somehow logged?
Second glitch is the Apps I would like to reopen after a OS restart, for example Skype. While the small dot on the dock is shown that the App is running, it is actually closed. The skype login does not appear on the upper status bar unless I again click to open Skype on the dock. Also this seems logged.
Thirdly my iCloud drive setting up for hours now and it wont be finished nor can it be stopped. I worry about battery drain if there is a continous connection there.

Anybody here to advise or help?
