I reset my launchpad because I was having problems, which worked but now it resets every time I log in.
Having gone through the common recommendations in this reddit thread, it seems the problem is likely corrupted files.
Most advice tells you to delete everything in ~/Library/Application Support/Dock/ - but in El Capitan the files relating to Launchpad don't seem to be there.
Can anyone help?
