Layout Of My Contacts

Is it possible to change the order telephone numbers and addresses are displayed in Contacts? For example if I store 3 telephone numbers for one person. Home, iPhone & Work I'd like to be able to change the order these are listed sometimes.

Most apps give you the option to press and hold and icon at the side and drag into any order you wish but I can't see this in contacts?

I don't think it's possible - but out of interest - why would you want to do this?

I like having home, mobile & work in that order for people

Sometimes I only have a mobile number for someone then they give me a landline number and later down the line maybe a work number this leave the layout mobile, home & work

Lol I know it's probably no big deal to most but it's something that annoys me a little OCD or what

I know how you feel! I have never found a way to do that without having to delete all the info first and then re-enter it in the order I want.

I think your best bet is to edit them manually on iCloud.com>Contacts...

That's what I have to do too but there should be some way to format information like this

It doesn't matter where it's edited the outcome is always the same

While I can see that function as a viable option, it's really never bothered me that much.
