I wanted to play League of Legends on mac however it's only compatible in windows. Any other options on how can I play it on my mac?

Yeah. It's kind of a shame. Almost all the LoL or LoL-like clients aren't really supported on Mac at all. DOTA is the best, just that the installer doesn't work in Lion. Hopefully DOTA2 may actually go with a true Mac client that works 100%. There's Heroes of Newerth, but Lion system owners will have to deal completely without sound at all (which ruins the tutorial, by the way) and it's been months with no patch in sight.

So yeah, bootcamp seems to be the way to go for any of these games as we await for a fully supported client of any of these games for Lion.

^ Yep. That works. About the only fully-working refuge for this kind of gaming on Mac. At least, if you have Lion, that is. Newerth would be another one, as long as you have a more vanilla release of Lion or the older op systems. After Lion upgraded, the sound was broken, and they never patched it to this day. On the other hand, this boompje client definitely works its magic well. Like the Wine guys, you often need the community support to get native running software.
