Like with any leak nobody knows how much weight it has...

Guess will see in a few weeks

I hope Apple eventually gets rid of PWM in their OLED iPhones. It gives me a massive headache...which is why I have the XR.

I also notice they removed the 128gb option on the 11? I guess I’ll never understand their wonky storage tiers.

Removed? I thought the storage tier from last year was 64,256, and 512. Was it not?

The 11Pro starting at 128GB kinda makes it sound fishy.

Skepticism aside, the lack of the 128GB option for the base 11 will force people to spend more to pick up the 256GB option. Assuming the 2019 256GB costs the same as last year's 256GB, that price point will be so close to the 128GB 11Pro it will make some of us think of spending some more to get the base 11Pro instead. That is shrewd on Apple's part.

I don't like it though.

The XR was 64, 128, 256.

The Pencil support gives it away that it’s fake.

Gurman or Kuo would have said so if it were true.

Kuo said there may be Apple Pencil support he just didn’t know if it was this year or next year

Kuo said there may be Apple Pencil support he just didn’t know if it was this year or next year

His most recent comment was from last year, where he said the 2018 iPhone would not support Pencil because it didn’t offer a “good user experience.” I doubt that has changed this year and not until 2020 with the 6.7” iPhone. More importantly, Kuo would have said something this late in the game, given how major the effect would be on the supply chain with Pencil support.

Kuo foretold the removal of 3D Touch in 2019 back in early 2018 because he has visibility on the display supply chain. He would have caught any Pencil support by now.

Will you be able to store the Pencil inside the phone? If not, that kind of takes away the portability that’s the Note has.

With the current iPhone dimensions, there’s no possible way to actually store the Apple Pencil in the phone. It won’t allow for the tolerances. Now I agree with you, that would allow for more portability, and I think that’s something that has been well executed by Samsung with the Note Series having a built-in ‘S-Pen.’

A stylus, we're going to use a stylus! ...no.

Apple has to fight the Samsung Note by at least offering the possibility of using the Apple Pencil on the iPhone.

They will sell cases that you can store the smaller Apple pencil in at the back.

1. Apple is NEVER going to introduce storage for a pencil, even if it is supported.
2. These rumors seem spot on to me. Apple knows it has to do something to give the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max customers more bang for their buck. This perceived value in increasing the base storage is smart, necessary, and welcome.
3. With the phones being in customers hands in less than 3 weeks, c'mon guys what's not to believe, I mean seriously.
4. The only surprises that could possibly remain are going to either be on the price or software side.

Overall, although I won't be purchasing (I'm fairly certain, lol) I'm liking what I'm seeing. Yessir!!!

So the iPhone goes up in price every year? Why do we condone this type of behavior? Us as consumers just accept it, and let our desires take over leading us to bite right in. Next thing you know the new high price is acceptable, rinse and repeat.

The 2020 so called “budget iPhone” whenever it does finally appear. Will be like $599 lol.

I don’t know why the pencil support seems to be a very touchy subject here.

Is it because Steve Jobs mocked phones with a stylus in 2007 at the original iPhone launch? Clearly he was talking about old resistive touchscreens that were barely useable with fingers alone. That’s not what the Apple Pencil is.

Quite frankly, I can’t believe it’s taken them this long to add support.

People buy less frequently which makes the demand weaker than in the early years of the smartphone. Since the demand is not increasing prices aren’t likely to decrease either.

Because every other consumer good also goes up every year? We won’t know the price until Apple tells us.
