First off, what are some good books to read on CS3? Also how do you add I think they are called "vector shapes" in Photoshop? Like the fan of colours:confused:? Another question I have is how do I make letters? Thanks for any other tips.

I am assuming you are talking about photoshop CS3 yes?

Good books, the classroom in a book series by adobe will get you started. You can find used with cd's for pretty cheap. Try amazon.

Also just do a google search for Photoshop tutorials and you will find a lot resources on photoshop.

Good luck.

I agree that the classroom in a book series is good. I would also recommend some video tutorials over at lynda.com. The tutorials on that site are ranged from beginner to advance and helped me more than any book.

How about the books that came with it? My CS3 pack had 15 Lb. of books if I recall correctly. There should also be a DVD as well.

Unless you by the student version? My student version didn't come with any manuals, however it came with a start up DVD. Forgot about that one.

If you are looking for photoshop tuts you might want to consider NAPP. Also go to your local book store IE borders/Barnes and Noble and check out the magazine section. There are lots of magazines on the subject and you can browse through them or purchase them.

There is so much out there on photoshop it would amaze you, do a google search and you will see what I mean.

Also go to adobe.com and check out some of the tutorials there also.
