When the first time I saw the leather loop on apple's website, I thought it is ugly. But I changed my mind after the try-on. Then I was struggling between the black and blue, so I ordered both of them. The expected delivery date was in June but I got both of them today.

The box was great. I couldn't believe that apple made such a fantastic box just for a band. The white plastic box reminds me of the white plastic macbook if you remember that.

The leather loop is super comfortable. My original band is milanese loop. It is comfortable and I love it, but the leather loop is a different kind of comfortable :p

The bad thing about leather loop is that it feels a little plastic, and it makes noise if you move it...

I opened the blue leather loop today, still not sure whether I will keep the black one or return it(maybe sell it?) Any suggestion?

---------update---------
FYI, my wrist size is around 160
PS Apple says the blue band is in "bright blue", but it is actually quite dark. It looks great outdoor but a bit dirty when the light is dark.

What size did you get? Looking on getting a black leather loop but need to try on the different sizes at the store first. Im hearing the large is just too long for everyone.

I ordered the size M. I think the size M is the same size as 42mm Milanese loop and it's large enough for most people(in fact, a bit too large. It would be great if apple shorten it by 2-3cm)

I ordered both the black and blue leather loop as well. Ended up returning the black and keeping the blue. I find that the slightly "plastic" look suits the blue band better. I'll probably end up getting something more akin to the classic band for my black leather option.

That wait is annoying though. I've been putting it off but the more I do, the delivery date gets pushed back even more, lol

I wonder if the slight plastic look and feel of the leather loop will go away over time as the leather breaks in. Obviously no one has had their watch long enough to tell yet, but what do you guys and gals think?

So, Bernardy... did you mean to post a picture of your shipping address? On a side note, it appears that your apartment complex doesn't get very good reviews. Lots of cockroaches, it seems.

I love the look of it, since I'm already getting the classic buckle in black I may get the loop in brown.

Oops, I didn't mean to post the address. Thank you for reminding me.
The apt is ok, cheapest single room I can find around campus. No cockroach for me, but it does have ant issue... :)

Absolutely agree! I will keep an eye on that issue

I have a 195mm wrist and the large leather loop wraps to about an inch from the watch. This makes it feel more secure to me. I'd worry if I only had an inch of overlap. The large band gives me about 3 inches of overlapping magnets holding it secure.

I got my leather loop band on Tuesday..... I'm returning it because it just feels weird for $150. It kinda feels like plastic, IMO.

The creaking noises that it makes.... :(

I believe the large is closer in size to the Milanese Loop. I have the ML and both the M and L sized Leather Loop: the M was too short on my wrist (which is large), while the L has similar overlap to the Milanese.

As to quality, it does feel and look kind of plasticky, but I find it more comfortable in warm weather than the Milanese so I will keep both and swap them out depending on temperature and occasion.

I own 4 leather loops. It makes no noise whatsoever if you back off the tightness one or two indentations it's still completely tight enough to get haptic, but it makes no noise after that.
