Leather Loop Breaking Apart

hey guys.

Just curious if anyone has had their leather loop start to break apart like in the attached pic? I've only had it a month now. No water exposure (save for washing my hands) and certainly no misuse of anything of the sort. I've got an appointment with Apple for tonight, we'll see what the geniuses have to say later...

Looks like it was probably a natural defect in the hide. Maybe a spot nicked by barbed-wire. If left alone the piece would likely break off (and NOT break apart the strap) and nothing more. However Apple will all but certainly replace it.

Apple replaced it at the store with medium-level hassle.

The watch bands are accessories to the watch. All watch band threads are in the accessories forum.
