Leather loop fell off!

I was shoveling and when I came inside my watch was gone. I wear it quite snug and was wearing a sweatshirt so it was under a cuff. I took my phone outside and used Find My to ping it. Thank god for the function because it had somehow slipped off, slid on some ice and ended up under the garbage toter. I’ll go out tomorrow and get a woven or silicone loop that can’t open.

Moral of the story: Don’t shovel.

That's a bit rubbish!

Do you have a decent overlap and make sure you attach the long piece on top otherwise it's attached weakly.
(I'm sure you did but just in case)

I like the band really tight and if I put it on wrong it wouldn’t last 90 seconds. Good thought though.

A followup in case anyone cares:
It was the the sweatshirt cuff rubbing on the band that caused it to slip open - that is a side-to-side motion. I love it but I bought a silicone loop as an alternative. Amazingly comfortable.

It is better to take off your watch when you work with a shovel.
