If I leave the iOS 15 Public beta on my iPhone, will I lose all my Apple Watch streaks data etc? That‘s still on the stable version, just iphone on the beta.

There is a chance you will, even if your watch is not on beta, as ultimately health data is stored on iPhone and major iOS release could change data format and break compatibility when you downgrade.

Always have a local iTunes backup ready before downgrading.

So probably just best to hold out for the release of iOS 15 and go back that way just to be safe? Battery is just garbage right now on my phone so was gonna go back but I can tough it out for another month

Yeah. Apple software upgrade was and still is always one way street. Backup restore won’t 100% bring back where you left off before starting the beta.

That’s why having a separate device for testing beta is the better course of action than using the main device to do so.

Sounds good, thanks for your help!

So backed up my phone before I tried to do the DFU downgrade, got it downgraded and just started from fresh without the backup. Everything before I went on the beta was there for my streaks but anything since I’ve been on it was missing. So just went back onto the beta to keep them up to date and active. Any idea what I did wrong when downgrading?
