i was wondering about my mac book pro and leaving the charger attached will it damage the battery (over charging?). or once the battery is charged will it bypass the battery and just work as power cord suppling the computer with power?

thanks for the help

leave it plugged in. it'll automatically stop charging when the battery is full. your battery can only be charged x number of times, so its best to leave it plugged in when you can.

My 17" MBP is almost permanently glued to a Magsafe. No issues. PSU's tend to fail or go intermittent more than any other laptop I've used this millennium though.
