Is it okay to leave my MBp on all night? If so what are things I could do to it so that it wouldn't be shining in my eyes all night.... I think I could live with that floating Apple logo.

well, I leave my MacBook on 24/7 to download stuffs, so it's not a problem,if you don't want your MBp shining all night,just go to energy saver and modify Power adapter setting, choose the time to put the display to sleep, and remember to set "put computer to sleep......" to Never(if you intend to leave it on all night"
