Hey guys,

I got glossy 2,2Ghz MBP just a week ago from Apple Store,
And I'm thinking of returning it, hear my story.

LED screen on my SR MBP is awesome, no dead/stuck pixels, a bit of yellow tint on far angles, and I can tell nothing about gradients, although colors seem much more saturated and richer than on my MB.

The thing is it gave me headache today, and my eyes hurt for a week now.

My eyes are pretty normal, no glasses, and never gave me problems like that before.
I do routinely spend a lot of time on my laptop(s), -- recently had (all glossy) VAIO FE, and MB -- all was OK, except MB looked pale sitting next to VAIO.
(I have to admit, I've been tempted to have my LED.MBP on full brightness sometimes, but now I never go further than 3/4 of it)

So I don't know what it is with LED screens, and if anybody have this issue, but my eyes hurt, and I can not leave it like that.
Also I was checking LED MBPs in the Store and it was Ok, but you never have a good testing ground in Apple Store.
And to aggravate I got problems with my eyes on my MBP, only after some usage, so guess not much can be done in scientific ways to measure or isolate my problems.

So my questions are :
  1. Has anybody encounterd something like this, And if matte screen would be any better for me ?
  2. Do I have a right to return my MBP for exchange for Another Glossy/Matte, If I'm really have problems with the screen ?
  • And in this case what I have to say to execute my right to get exchange, as I'm within my 14 days period.

Thanks for your help,
Sam.
