Left 4 Dead console + Lobby issue

Hi!

First of all - how to get CONSOLE working on a MAC for Left 4 Dead 2 ?

Second - I cannot create a Lobby... it stops with a spinning l4d logo... and doesn't go any further. Wanted to play with friends via hamachi.

For the console hit the ` key next to the 1. Can't help you with the other part unfortunately.
