I have a weird issue that affects my left airpod. If I am connected to my phone, computer, etc. and listening to music consistently, no problems (except for when the left airpod doesn't connect at all), however if I pause the music, or the youtube video stops and I am spending time looking for another, the left airpod will automatically disconnect after about 5-10 seconds and it nearly always takes disconnecting the airpods from the device and reconnecting them, if not an entire reset of the airpods. If I go into the Airpod settings on the phone, it is as if the left airpod doesn't exist - no battery percentage, etc.
As you can imagine, this is incredibly frustrating, especially when I need to pause music to hear someone talking to me, etc. Has anyone else experienced this issue?? Also, lately, I have put them in and it sometimes will take up to 15minutes for the left earbud to connect to whatever I'm listening to. I only realized this after going to work out and just needing to get on with it and not spend time fiddling with the settings, etc. to try and get it to connect and then voila - it connects without issues after that.
I initially chalked this up to user error - I was not an early adopter of these and so I had a steep learning curve and now that I have finally realized it is not me, of course the warranty has run out... Is there anything I can do??
