Hi, I left my iphone on a wet surface for a bit, back down. I don't think anything got onto the screen side, was just damp on the back. It was on, seemed to work but turned it off to be o the safe side. Should I leave it off until tomorrow or is it probably ok?

ha, ok, it's more the amount of money the thing cost me and the fact I stopped the insurance a week ago that makes me think, if it could go wrong it will and I don't have the money to replace it...
Leave it off, take the SIM card away (that way you can use it in another phone), put it in a box (its own box is perfect), cover it completly with rice (underneath, sides and top) and leave it like that at least for a day or two, then it should be fine.
The rice will take all the humidity from it.

My colleague just told me someone put his phone (wet) into an oven to dry.
Don't try the microwave though.
Anyway, you can also leave the phone to dry somewhere. It should dry out. After it is dried, and if it still does not work, then work your charm at the apple store or your telco shop, say it stopped working, don't say water.
