Left Speaker distortion

Hello all,

I just bought my new macbook air 2017 and I noticed distortion in the left speaker then I updated the software to v10.13.6 but it still exists. How can I solve that issue ? , is it software or hardware issue ?

If the Air is new, a defective speaker is a big deal in my opinion. I would take it back to the retailer and ask for a replacement.

Same problem with 2 OS versions unlikely software. Ur would have heard cry from the community by now.
