I mean apps for lawyers, DUDE
The dismissive nature of the response indicates you didn't get my request. I meant, has anyone come across any web apps for lawyers? On the Palm, there are a bunch. So, I repeat, anyone find any web apps that designed for lawyers, like, evidence rules, procedure, docket control, etc.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but I would love a timer that can be saved to a specific docket number, nothing too fancy.
Applications for lawyers
Since the latest post is nearly a year old, I am hopeful that, by now, somebody knows if there are any apps for lawyers. Specifically, I would love to be able to track / record / docket all client-related phone calls, e-mails, etc., as well as docket my time when I am away from the office.

Just downloaded this app - not necessarily for lawyers, but people who need to create simple legal documents such as NDAs, promissory notes, basic agreements, etc.
Allow you to draft the document, electronically sign and then email a completed pdf.

I'd also recommend "LawBox". It has the three big federal rule sets (good for law students, but not much use for the average practicing attorney).
What really shines is the legal news browser: the app has hundreds of legal RSS feeds and you can save the stories to Instapaper, or tweet/email them from inside of the app.
Very slick interface to boot.

I am a law student and currently I have Law in a Flash apps : Contracts, Criminal Law, Real Property, Torts and Criminal Procedure. And Essential Law Dictionary. The Law in a Flash apps run around $39.00 a piece, but sometimes you can get them on sale, and the Law Dictionary is about 1.99. Unless you have a jailbroken phone, then they are ALL free on Installous.
