So I bought a ringtone a month ago and have been using it ever since.
Today I decided to get a new one and I can't get it to play when I get a call.

- it shows up in my ringtones list
- it plays when I select it in the list
- when i choose it as the default ringtone, the phone rings "marimba"
- when i choose it for someones special ringtone (with the defualt one something else) it play that persons ring as "marimba"
- i have 1.1.1, never hacked of any sort
- this is happening to 2 ringtones i've bought today.

Thanks in advance for your help!

my 'legal ringtones' stopped working in 1.11 also.
I had to rename them from .m4r to .m4a

Apple really needs to get over their silly iphone customization phobia. Some of the most 'hacked' phones are working with ZERO impact on cellular networks and hardware providers. The people that chose to 'hack' or customize their phone KNOW that if they want support they have to restore to orig factory config and trouble shot from there. This is of course after they have exhausted a huge well seasoned support network.

Thanks for the response Flhusky...

I reset my phone... and that seemed to get the ringtones to generally work ... but I'm still having issues getting someones personal ringtone to be customized
