Hi guys...

Can you help. I'm an amateur photographer but I would like to try selling some of my work (I'm UK based). I'm a little bit worried about legalities however.

What I mean is, taking a photo of a building - in public space or a person walking past... This shot wasn't set up and I don't know the woman. I saw her walking passed and snapped off a shot and I like it, I don't have her consent to sell or display it? Can I?

What can you sell and what can’t you? I know you have to get a consent form for a model.

Thanks.

As far as your photo goes I believe the rule is if the subject in the photo cannot be 100% identified by a judge or any other counsil then you do not need to get consent. And yours looks like it would be hard to distinguish a verifiable likeness.

Sorry for the bad spelling.
