Is it still possible for me to jailbreak and use my AT&T service. my iphone was OOTB 1.1.2, then i activated through iTunes and upgraded to 1.1.3 also through iTunes. So is it possible for me to jailbreak my phone and still use my current AT&T phone service?

Indeed it is. I'm actually on AT&T on a jailbroken/unlocked (non-iPhone ATT plan) 1.1.3 OOB. Basic process I used:

-Downgrade to 1.1.1
-Jailbreak via Jailbreakme.com
-Run Unlocker (you can probably skip this step)
-Oktoprep
-Upgrade to 1.1.2
-Dev Team Upgrade to 1.1.3

Your iPhone won't function as a phone until 1.1.3, so make sure you have some WiFi handy!
