I've seen a lot of Microsoft software keys go on sale on various 3rd party sites, many of which are apparently legitimate for Windows and Office.

I'm looking for a reputable place to buy Office for macOS (one time purchase, not an annual 365 subscription).

Any suggestions or fair prices? Recently saw Windows 2021 deals for as low as $30.

My thoughts:

Most likely while they may be genuine they could be sold in violation of the license, such as a key intended for enterprise use being sold to individuals. Maybe they are MS 365 E5 90 day codes. At any rate, if they are dirt cheap and don't come with a code on a card then they likely are not retail licenses; and you risk MS invalidating the key at some point.

While it's more of a 'when they have it' type of thing, I bought my version of Office 2019 from woot.com for Somewhere between $50-$75 a year or so ago. It's not something they have in stock every day, but it was a special & it was 100% legit & is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

You might want to set up an alert for Microsoft Office on slick deals to see if anything pops up in the next few weeks.

Woot.com, an Amazon company, is definitely legit, it's the $20 digital delivered license odes that are questionable. I've bought from Woot with no problems.

Appleinsider has a link to a company selling Office 2021 for Mac for $50 (one time purchase, not a subscription). Looks like the sale is good for the next couple of days

Hmm I wonder if that is a reputable source (StackCommerce)

I went to appleinsider and bought the deal mk313 posted about. The purchase process ultimately sent a link to redeem and download from Microsoft.

I downloaded it from Microsoft's website, installed it, activated it, and have started using it........all without any trouble
