It's more than likely too late to do anything now that the warranty is out, but the Apple Store Genius' said to live with it.

I bought the iPhone the second day it was out. I loved it. Until I made a call. The quality was nothing like in the store. And EDGE was crap until I turned off the active 3G searching. Should they have replaced something? I think so.

And then I bought a screen protector. It was sticky though! I'm believing that it actually took off the scratch-resistant stuff, because the day I got it off at the Apple Store, it scratched. A huge scratch.

And now the damn thing decides to lockup and delete all my photos. I have them on my Mac, thank God, but it's very disappointing.

Should I do something about it or wait for the next iteration?

Sounds like you should have been a little more assertive and taken it into the Genius Bar when you were having network problems. Highly unlikely that taking off your screen protector made your screen any more prone to scratches...its glass, it didn't have any kind of coating on it to prevent scratches in the first place. Should have been more careful.

As far as your lock up photo problem, sounds like a good restore is in order. If its out of warranty, apple wont do anything to help. sorry.

Ha. After 5 'good' restores. :p

Just tryin to be real with ya man. I worked at my local apple store for almost a year and saw a lot of weird stuff during my time there. Hopefully the lock/photo delete issue won't show up again.
