Long time no see!
I have a Tamron 60mm f/2 Macro (Nikon mount) that I purchased last October (used - from KEH). I absolutely LOVE this lens, and have used it quite a bit. But, this morning, when I went to take a photo with it... it won't focus. Whether in autofocus or manual focus, the gears seem to be turning (in manual, I can turn the focus ring just fine); but the focal point doesn't change.
I am hoping to hear from other folks who've had lenses repaired - who did you have do it? Were you satisfied with the quality of the work? I'm especially interested in hearing from anyone who's had KEH repair their lens, since they've moved to a flat fee structure for this stuff.
I have looked at our local camera shops, but the ones I know of don't do their own work - they just ship it out.
Thanks for any guidance or information you can provide!
P.S. I'm in the greater Seattle area, in case anyone wants to vouch for a local repair shop.
