I'm sure it will be fine, but does anyone have any concerns about buying a SR MBP now with Leopard coming in a few months? I don't want to buy something now then in 3 months be disappointed that my Mac won't handle feature X in Leopard. Just looking for moral support here. Thanks!
 
It will run it perfectly fine, Apple would not keep features from running on a notebook that is that recent, or especially one that will most likely be still shipping when Leopard is released.
 
Yeah, I mean even if you look at the old Powerbooks and G5s, they still run Tiger pretty well (as far as I'm aware)

I'd reckon about 30% of Mac Users use the latest models, so Apple would be stupid to develop ONLY for them :)

Then again, Apple has done stranger things. :p
