Leopard Install - Software Compatibility

Hey guys, I'm extremely interested in upgrading to Leopard, particularly so that I can use the latest version of Boot Camp. However, I'm nervous about attempting this since I have a number of applications working perfectly in Tiger. These include:

Adobe After Effects CS3, Final Cut, and Logic (with Guitar Rig).

It took a while to install these programs, and I would prefer not having to do it again. Does anybody know how these function in Leopard if I attempt a simple upgrade from Tiger?

I'm fairly certain CS3 will work fine; I did an archive and install while CS1 was installed, and it worked fine afterwards without reinstalling anything. Worst case you might have to reinstall CS3 (the installer dumps a bunch of stuff into /Library/Application Support/ and I don't know if the contents of that folder are carried over in an archive and install), but I can guarantee it'll work fine in 10.5, since I'm running it now.

I can't say anything about the other two, but given that they're both Apple, and I haven't heard any hollering about them, I'd guess they're ok.

One tip: A straight-across Upgrade install should keep all your apps running fine, but it's been known to cause issues that you won't see with an archive and install. I did straight upgrades with every version from 10.0 to 10.3, but I started having a really odd problem that ONLY happened to people who'd done an upgrade install to a dual G5 with over 2 gigs of RAM.

A "proper" archive install fixed it, and while that's totally anecdotal, that's the sort of oddball stuff that can happen with upgrade installs. Seems like the relatively minor pain of maybe reinstalling a few programs is worth it for the sake of keeping everything running smoothly.
