Leopard on CoreDuo Macbook

I read bench marks online and what not and leopard comes in a slightly bit lower on the core duo machines then Tiger...

Basically I'm not planning on upgrading just this moment (I have to pick up a new HD I'm running out of room) but does leopard on the first rem MacBooks have "The Snappy" ?

This is probably a repeat, but it runs just fine on my 1st gen coreduo macbook. Just make sure youve got sufficient ram. Ive got a gig and a half, but it would probs run on 1gb 'snappily'
