Leopard Portable Home Directories / iPhone?

Or maybe just for iPod since the iPhone doesn't have an accessible directory

Apple insider had a story on it. "Apple granted new patent for elusive "Home on iPod" feature"


This kind of thing keeps my hopes up for more soon to be features on my iPhone. One can dream no?

I really think we'll see the true feature set of the iPhone when leopard is released, along with an overhaul of .mac. .Mac has been overpriced and underpowered for too long. If they made it sync calendar, iDisk, contacts, etc, etc, with the iPhone, I would totally purchase a subscription.
