Got my very first iMac a few weeks ago, been a PC user for over 20 years. Love it so far. I just got the up to date Leopard disk and have a few questions. I have done tons of searches but am still confused on the install options.

I really want a clean install and the options are Upgrade which puts 10.5 over Tiger. Archive and install, but what happens to Itunes, Photos, etc. or Clean install which installs a Leopard, but you lose everything.

I used SuperDuper and copied my entire hard drive to my external. So what install option should I use? I want to make sure I don't lose my addresses, iTunes, photos, and other apps I have installed.

Thanks for any help

OK bought my first Mac 3 weeks ago at the apple store in SLC. So far I love it as well (after a lifelong PC user) I ordered the up to date CD and it was delivered today! When I inserted the CD it only asked me if I wanted to install the new operating system and where. I did not get any of the options that I have been reading about in the forums. Now I may have missed something, but went with the normal install (whatever that may have been) and all was great. I have little installed in extra software and the unit is all but new so that may or may not of made the difference. I did not lose anything, pictures, music, folders and the like were all in place safe and sound. So I would say go for it and enjoy!!!
