I've been looking for it too. For now, I'll just use one of the 2 similar ones posted just above me. It should be out in a day or two though.

I have to say that I was very dissapointed with the new wallpaper, at first. Then when Steve continued his keynote I really got into it. :)

I thought Jobs said that since it was aimed toward digital photos they just chose one. Then again it may be on the beta cd (I also like it) Check out the keynote at 17:10 he said "We picked this one, we thought it was nice"

I for one would love to get my hands on this wallpaper as well. Nothing too special about it, I just like it.

Are devs out there unable to share it b/c of the NDA, or are they too busy playing around with Finder's new coverflow to share? ;)

I was wondering that just now, does the dev's NDA prohibit them for sharing things as simple as a wallpaper?

Both. But the NDA carries more severe ramifications. ;)

I haven't seen all the keynote yet but from what I saw I believe he said the desktop is more customizable (though it's easy enough to change in Tiger, so not sure what that means). But also - and this might be talking out of my posterior - maybe a busy picture was chosen to emphasize the fact that Leopard makes it unnecessary to have anything on the desktop (generally accepted wisdom being that a plain pattern was best for keeping things on the desktop visible, but Stacks, etc., make that a thing of the past).

I have no idea what you are talking about!
