Leopard woes

I have been having huge headaches since installing leopard, most notably when getting out of sleep (unresponsive keyboard, jerky cursor, blank screen etc). This mornings patch seems to have fixed the keyboard issue but the other bugs still dog my MBP.
I think I may have found the culprit however. In my case I stopped using dashboard and it has been flawless since! I think it may be related to the new web clippings function but I need to investigate further.

I can now confirm that the culprit was the istats widget (latest version 4.5). What a piece of cr*p, never again!

i was having the same exact problem. now if only i could figure out this skipping the first key problem.

hmm...wondering if iStat Nano 2.2 might have the same sort of affliction with the OS.........

I don't know, but after all the trouble I had with istat, I am going to avoid it like it was the plague!

Is there a suitable (working) replacement?

Although I have to sya I've not noticed any problems with iStat on my dashboard...

you could use istat menus i havnt had any problems with it
