Welcome, i just bought ibook g4, unfortunally it does not read my dvd with leo on it.
i Just thought, will i be able to run leopard installer from hdd that i want it to put on

Do you have a version of OS X already installed? If so, split your HDD in 2 partitions using Disk Utility, pick up a Leopard .DMG and restore it using Disk Utility on the second partition you've created. You can then run the Leopard installer from it.
