Self promotion??

I couldn't agree more :)

Guys are you serious? You and your buddy obviously are the devs of this app. You look like complete idiots. You both posted the pretty much the same post within 10 minutes of each other yesterday saying how wonderful your app is.
If you are going to do this, how about some disclosure first. I hope nobody buys your app because of your complete dishonesty. Next time tell everyone that you have a new app out that you are proud of and maybe give a few promo codes out to help get things moving. You are a disgrace to this community. Now, how about a promo code so I can do an accurate review? PM me and if it is that good, I will post it on my website.

So you want the app for free basically. But you'll post your review on your 'website'? How generous of you. Be careful who you're calling an idiot.

Sarcasm. LOL you didn't even deny that this is your app. One up for transparency. Ever hear of full disclosure? You should probably check gizmodo and lifehacker for a FULL review of your app tomorrow.
Yes, that is how these review websites work. The dev gives a code to the reviewer and the reviewer forms an honest opinion of the app.

I follow the developer of LetMeKnow on Twitter, and I've exchanged a few support mails with him as well. The threadstarter doesn't sound like the developer at all.

LetMeKnow is very reliable when it comes to Twitter alerts, but has a spotty record when it comes to gmail. I'll have to send to the developer to see if he can sort that out. I haven't tried any of the other subscriptions.

I'm honored that you think my skill set could even come close to creating an app. It's not what I do at all. If you want full disclosure, I have nothing to do with this app or any other. I haven't used it and won't be downloading it because it doesn't appear to suit any need or want for me.

I was only commenting on your rather assuming post that also included a request for a free download because you have a website and you review apps apparently and it came across as a bit douchey and self-important. I don't need to be told that this is how it works in the app review world. I'm sure if your website is worth a **** the developer's will be contacting you for a review very soon. And I'm sure they'll provide you with that elusive coupon code.

I'm the sole developer of LMK. The OP is not affiliated with me at all. My reply post which said "I couldn't agree more" was meant to be sarcastic. I have announced my app on these forums before.

I definitely am not for having family/friends post biased comments about apps. Anything you see about LMK was not written or influenced by me (besides the website of course).

Yes. Letmeknow is a great app, however I dont like the fact I have to pay £11.99 for 2 minute polls when Boxcar does the same for significantly less, or even free.
