A lot of these threads have a bunch of complaining in it and almost nothing positive, some, but almost none.

I just got a MacBook Pro 15". 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, 256MB ATi X1600... Matte Screen, etc.

AMAZING! One of THE most amazing computers I have EVER used or owned. EVER. The keys... are so amazing! They feel "so right" :)o). The screen = BEAUTIFUL. I've never truly appreciated the design of his computer until now; as I've never had a PowerBook G4 / MacBook Pro (I've had iBooks, iMacs, PowerBook G3s, MacBooks).

Everything screams, too. It's so fast. Aperture screams; Photoshop screams... everything is snappier too.

Here are some pictures.

This is why I love Apple.

Congrats on your purchase, buddy! Nothing beats the feeling of a new Mac, eh? BTW....I agree that there does seem to be a lot of complaining going on which 'kinda surprises me. I mean.....we have so much to be thankful for. There are tons of great products on the market and many more just around the corner. These are great times we live in....

congrats! hopefully it will last you a long time with no issues. Trying to be neutral here, but does the quantity of complaints not suggest that there is an issue with apple's quality control process? or maby they are promising too much, or just charging too much for what they offer. there is definately something wrong somewhere in the chain.

No, the quantity of complaints probably just means that this is where people come to try to resolve problems.

Congrats on the laptop. I might as well say I'm loving my Macpro! And my Macbook! And my G5!

It's not new (4 years old) but I still love my PowerBook as much as when I first got it. We do need some more appreciation threads since we do love Apple.

My black MacBook is so awesome. It takes 1 Ghz iBook to finish encoding a video for 95 minutes in what the black Macbook takes only 15 minutes to do the same video!

Yoowzers. Gotta love the Core Duo processing.

Yeah, it really is amazing.

And you know, to the above poster --
People usually don't come to say "omg this is so nicee!" like I'm doing. They usually complain, so there seems to be a lot more unhappy people than there truly is. :)

I don't even complain when my Apple fails or stops working. I just go ahead and get it fixed.

It's like a car or a bad date, gotta repair it. :apple:

That's the way to roll, really. Seriously, how I got this MacBook Pro was that my Black MacBook got in for repair 3 times and was declared a lemon as it wasn't fixed all those 3 times sent in for repair; so they decided to replace it. I asked while they were going to give me a new MacBook if I could upgrade to a new MacBook Pro & pay the difference. I did, and it only cost me $990. :)

I upgraded from a 1st edition MB to a C2D MBP. Got it from the Apple refurb store, gorgeous machine, I love it. Great prices if you get a refurb, and they have ZERO problems.
I even have my mom and dad switching over from Windows to MBs too.

THANK YOU APPLE!!!

I LOVE my 17" MBP too! I love the the OS, the screen, the stability, the keyboard, the look...everything!!! I never thought that I could love a computer that much. :)

I wish I could have a MBP...I guess my MB will have to do for now. Not that it's a bad computer spec-wise, I just like the look of the MBP better.

Again, a lot of the people posting in these kinds of forums are the ones with problems.

those that dont have no reason to.

That said, I am happy with my C2D MBP.:)
