It shoudl work if the resolution is supported by the graphic driver in OS X Yosemite.

I am running that exact monitor on my 2014 2.6 mini - you need a mini-displayport to displayport cable to get native resolution. I tried it with HDMI and is wasn't successful. I thought about trying a displayport to HDMI adapter but decided to go with the mini-dp to dp.

It has a few quirks that may be the result of my $10 cable - occasionally I get screen tears, momentarily and they don't effect function I just see them. I have woken from sleep to a screen that can only be described as a bad acid trip (once), colors are all distorted but power cycling fixed it. And, I had a hot corner that would set the display to sleep and sometimes it would trip when I wasn't near the corner, I just disabled it.

All that said, I love this display.

I have one of those except the 21" version, works flawlessly on my 2012 Mini. I'm using a Thunderbolt to DVI cable I got from the bay.
