So Calif
Has anyone tried this $700 32" 4K monitor with the M1 ?

I'd be interested in this affordable display as the 27" 5K Apple LG monitor is too pricey....

Yes I have 2 of them. There is also a business model which is same thing but with 3 year warranty on amazon. It’s a matte display so better for reflections. Reviews say it isn’t very bright but I have a lot of windows and it’s fine for me. Turn off HDR in Mac display settings when connected. Also I scale it the second option from the last. The resolution won’t be as good as the 5k. For me I see it in some of the text. It’s mostly good for everything else but if you are expecting retina text it’s not quite there but it’s ok. You have to adjust all settings using joystick under monitor in middle which is annoying but the colors are good and comparable to Mac or of the box or with slight adjustment. Just make sure to turn hdr off. Overall it’s a good monitor with good options. I used it on the M1 Air 8gb and the 16 inch MBP and works great for both.
