Hi there - I just got a new 13 inch Macbook Pro 2020 model. I'm hoping to use it at home with my gaming PC's ultra wide monitor, which is an lg38950g at it's high refresh rates.
To that end, I've purchased both a usb-c to display port cable, as well as a usb-c multi-port dongle with HDMI output. Both of these output at 3840x1600 @ 60hz max.
Is there any way I can take advantage of the high refresh rate on my monitor? I thought HDMI 2.0 supported at least 85hz... and would have thought that the usb-c -> DP would get me 144hz easy.
Any help/guidance would be much appreciated! Thanks.
