LG 5K 3200 x 1800 2014 Mac Mini

Waiting for the companion MBP to arrive, but decided to hook it up to the 2014 base Mac mini I'm using, with the TB2 > TB3 adapter + black TB2 Cable (apple version)....while Apple states 3200 x 1800 @ 60Hz, its only allowing 2560x1440 even option clicking scaled, it does not prompt for 3200 x 1800.

version is 10.12.3, I saw one of these hooked up at an Apple Store running the 3200 x 1800 resolution...anyway to achieve this I'm missing
