Coming at CES in 2017, two new monitors, one of which is making me think twice about the 5k 27" Ultrafine.

LG’s 32-inch UHD 4K monitor (model 32UD99)
  • 3840 x 2160 pixels supports the HDR10 standard
  • wide color gamut image
  • IPS panel and displays over 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space
  • USB Type-C
  • THIN, SYMMETRICAL BEZEL!

4K at 27" is too small but 4K at 32" might just be perfect.

For comparison, LG's 5K Ultrafine 27":

Looks pretty nice, with caveats. As with all LG displays on offer over the past several years, I'll pass on the consumer model with the 1-year warranty LG typically offers and look at the business model that's usually cheaper and includes a 3-year warranty.

Any idea if this new 32" monitor has traditional input types such as HDMI & DisplayPort? I would like to use the monitor for other devices in addition to USB-C.

Also, would like to know what the USB-C charging wattage this 32" monitor provides, as current USB-C monitor offerings aren't enough for the new 15" MBP.

This looks interesting. Always thought 27" was too small and I was really hoping that apple would have released a 32". I need an external monitor or two to go with my 15" tbMbp

I disagree, 4K is perfect for 19-22" sizes. Once you go Retina (2x) you never want something else again.

Thin bezel looks nice though where the webcam? Form over function or just cheap? I bet the latter, that aluminum colored plastic base screams cheap.

I can't remember the last time I used my iSight. Would rather go without it and uniformity in the bezel, or lackthereof.
But 4K at 32" inches is like...

Yeah, too bad it's not a 5k 32".
