Interested in a phone that costs less than $150, has Android 7.0, comes with a fingerprint scanner for security, includes a 13mp rear shooter and 5mp front (with hand gesture controlled selfie shots), removable battery and an SD card slot for expanding your memory?

The LG Aristo is it. It comes out next week, but I'll be testing it out before then to see if it is worth it. Considering the price and what you get, should be a pretty descent experience.

They could have upped specs a little bit. You can get a Blu phone with double the specs for under $100. And most of their models run great.

The BLU models I've seen for $150 and under don't match these specs? They are still running Android 5.0 and don't include fingerprint scanners. You have a link?

Looks interesting, though at this time I think just about every Android phone needs 2gb RAM for sanity's sake and the Honor 5x or an older flagship like a Galaxy S5 is about this price now new. Granted this does have newest software so that's an advantage. Maybe it will be more relatively affordable outside NA

Well yea, haven't seen any Blu phone that low with a fingerprint sensor or 7.0. But I've seen several Blu phones with 2gb - 4gb ram and close to 3000mAh battery with 720 screen for just under $100 running on 6.0. I'll try to find some links.

Okay, been playing with the phone. Online specs claim a fingerprint scanner... Well, that's a lie. No fingerprint scanner.

That's an immediate no buy from me! Other than that, it's your typical mid-tier phone. Nothing to write home about, other than Nougat coming installed on it. It isn't a bad phone for the price. But I demand fingerprint scanner security and ease for online and app passwords.

Shame, it really does look like a fingerprint sensor. They could have just made a small power button on the top or side instead.

Weren't Blu phones recently outed as being laden with Chinese Malware? I guess if something is too cheap to be true, it most probably is.

I am more curious for the one metro pcs is offering for $99, ZTE zmax pro AND it has fingerprint scanner.

I bought a BLU smartphone back when, one shot was quite enough. :)

Too many compromises at ~$150. I'd probably pay $80 more ($230) for the carrier unlocked ZTE Blade V8 Pro. I think these are the clear winners. Unfortunately, nothing extraordinary <$200 or <$150.

<$100
Huawei Ascend XT, free carrier unlock, bootloader unlock, TWRP custom recovery, systemless root

<$230
ZTE Blade V8 Pro, carrier unlocked out of box

The ZMax Pro sells a ton through T-Mobile, but I was looking for a smaller phone. I already have the iphone 7+. That's why I was excited for the LG Aristo.
