I just purchased the LG 34BK95U-W 5k2k ultrawide monitor.

I'm on the LG website and it's not showing any download for "On Screen Control for Mac" or any firmware updates: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-34BK95U-W.AUB

Does anyone know where I can find the firmware on the LG website? I searched high and low and nothing.

Yes, I realize this is a Mac forum—and I'm going to be using this monitor with my new M2 Mini Pro.

Many LG and Dell monitors do not officially support Mac mini M1/M2 but work just fine using a DP or HDMI interface. The biggest concern would be firmware updates to the monitor.

If in doubt there is a 3rd party shareware app called BetterDisplay that provides fantastic support for all types of displays. And in my opinion, provides much sharper text and better display controls than native Mac software

Hi, thanks. I read in the other mega-thread that the M1 Mac Mini Pro works great with the LG 34BK95U-W 5k2k ultrawide monitor.

However, I also recall reading some guys performed an update to the monitor and I was wondering how to do so.

I found another page on the LG website for an unrelated monitor. It's the "[Mac OS] OnScreen Control - version 6.04" and I'm thinking that I could download that program and it would work to update the 34BK95U-W monitor's firmware.

Perhaps there is no firmware update for this display at all.
