OK,

I have two user accounts on my ibook and was struggling to share my own itunes library with my partners account.

A visit to the genius bar later and things are half sorted. When I got home I realised that not all of the music that was in my partners library has transferred to my library (the new master shared library if you like)

The genius managed to have the itunes on both accounts pointing to the same library and he carried out one other step to move the music in my partners library to the shared one. He also said we could import music on either account and then repeat this step to send the music to the shared library.

Problem is I can't remember what this step was and in any case it has not moved all of the music accross and I don't know how to revert to her own library.

Can anyone save me a return trip to the genius bar please?

In a sort of supplementary question we both have iphones and wondered if this sharing has any issues. I synced my own phone earlier with no issues, however when I went into my partners user account to try and sync her iphone I was unable to do so as the library was locked it said. Can we sync two phones from the same library and on separate user accounts?
