I down loaded libre office and used it successfully. When I tried to download an update I was refused permission. "your security preferences allow installation of only apps from Mac App Store and identified developers."
I cannot open any of the work previously done in libre office - any help would be much appreciated.

Just right click then click open and you will get a prompt asking if it is okay to open this non app store software and you will be good to go.
