I see that a new major update to LibreOffice (6.0) has been released. What do ex-MSOffice users who have switched to LibreOffice think of this suite? Also like to hear from people who switched and then went back.

I'm a heavy user of MS Office but I also heavily use LibreOffice. When I have to work on MS Office files, I prefer to use LibreOffice whenever possible. If I know in advance that they type of work I'll be doing won't translate well over to LibreOffice, then I'll go straight to MS Office. Load time and performance of LibreOffice is consistently better than MS Office 2016.

Visually, I find LibreOffice to not be very attractive. I mitigate the homeliness of the UI by using an MS Office 2013 icon set. That helps a bit.

I tried LibreOffice but could not get used to its layout. And it did not display my Word documents properly that I created with Office. I removed LibreOffice and went back to MS Office.
