Lifeproof fre power

Hey guys I'm new here and I'm planning to get a lifeproof fre power for my 6s. But I'm dying to know whether this case's charging holds up as I've heard many many many complaints that this case just stops functioning instantaneously for no reason at all and then $100+ bucks down the drain. Does anyone have any personal experience using this case? I really need to know this. Thanks
